Appropriations Requests
Every year, Congresswoman Simon has the opportunity to submit funding requests for important community projects in California's 12th Congressional District to the House Appropriations Committee. In FY2026, Congresswoman Simon secured over $11 million in federal Community Project Funding to invest in California's 12th Congressional District.
Below, you can find the forms for standard programmatic and language-based requests for the FY2027. There is no deadline for submissions at this time, and deadlines will be set once our office has received the President's budget proposal and deadlines from the Appropriations Committee Majority/Republicans. Please check back to this page for updates.
Consistent with prior years, projects will likely be restricted to a limited number of federal funding streams and only a handful of projects from each Representative may actually be funded. Only state and local governments and eligible non-profit entities are permitted to receive funding.
