WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congresswoman Lateefah Simon (CA-12) was sworn in to office to represent California’s Twelfth Congressional District in the 119th Congress.
“It is an honor and a privilege to represent California’s Twelfth Congressional District, and I am humbled by the support our district has placed in me to serve as a fighter and voice for our communities in Washington, D.C.
“The next Congress will bring tough battles, and I’m ready to fight relentlessly for our district—protecting our diverse communities, driving a fair economy, and expanding access to affordable healthcare and housing.

Congresswoman Simon hosted an open house today for visiting constituents in her Washington, D.C. office. The D.C. office is located at 1023 Longworth House Office Building, and Congresswoman Simon specifically chose this ADA-accessible office to ensure that any and all who want to visit, can. A district office in Oakland, California will open in January.
